Sahra da Silva is the new star seed on the Danish jazz and blues scene. She swings, grooves and charms her way through a repertoire that includes both hard-hitting blues numbers and soft soul ballads, and maybe we'll also get a few well-known jazz standards.

Sahra has just released her first - but certainly not last - solo release. She has a voice that you notice, and a dynamic stage presence that has brought her to the forefront among Danish vocalists with international potential.

Kjeld Lauritsen and his Hammond organ are a dynamo in the Copenhagen jazz scene, and for many years he has been at the top among the masters of the impressive, old and ton-heavy instrument. In May 2022, he was one of the recipients of the Ben Webster Honorary Award.

The group is completed by two musicians from the absolute elite: guitarist Per Gade from i.a. DR Big Band and drummer Zoltan Czorz - one of Sweden's best!!
