Jazz for Organ with Kit Downes, Calum Builder og Laura Zöschg

For this performance, vocalist and composer Laura Zöschg joins saxophonist Calum Builder and organist Kit Downes in presenting music for multiple pipe organs, voice, and winds. With Builder on his self-built (Re)constructed Pipe Organ, Downes on the concert organ, and Zöschg working with extended vocal techniques, the trio explores a sound world of “richly counter-melodic flurries and yearning themes” (JazzWise).

The concert is supported by the council of Sankt Markus Church and the Frederiksberg Foundation.
