FRANS BAK ”SOFTER THAN YOU KNOW” FEAT. SINNE EEG AND HANS ULRIK
Frodes Folkehus is serving up a packed program for the Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2025, and on Saturday, July 5, Frans Bak will swing by with Sinne Eeg and Hans Ulrik. The audience can now look forward to experiencing the three icons together and letting themselves be enveloped in a magical universe of beautiful melodies and Nordic atmosphere.
In the concerts, the trio will not only perform the songs from Softer Than You Know, but also play a few of their personal jazz favorites.

The album – and thus the concert – contains beautiful, melancholic melodies, composed by pianist Frans Bak and with lyrics by Helle Hansen.

Frans Bak has written the songs with Sinne Eeg in mind. He loves the impressive depth and incredible presence that her voice brings. The melodies are a distinctive, musical experience that crosses genres and elegantly moves freely between jazz and pop.

Frans Bak is one of the most seasoned and productive musicians in Denmark. He has written music for the TV series Nikolaj & Julie and Forbrydelsen, among others. Sinne Eeg captivates audiences in most of the world with his virtuoso singing, his “dark”, Scandinavian expression and his always charming stage performance. Hans Ulrik is known as the first tenor saxophonist in the DR Big Band, but he also performs regularly with Lars Jansson and his own quartet.
