The not-entirely-Danish quartet returns to Tårnby with lots of quirky standards, high energy and creativity.

Rudi Mahall is a legendary bass clarinetist from Berlin, where he has been known for his humorous style on stage since the 1990s. He takes his original approach and unique style with him everywhere in his musical work.

Mahall is a prominent figure on the European free jazz scene, but this time he has thrown himself into standards together with his almost-Danish quartet.

The almost-Danish quartet also consists of pianist Artur Tuznik, drummer Kasper Tom and bassist Richard Andersson. Artur Tuznik is originally from Poland, but has lived in Copenhagen since 2008. Kasper Tom has collaborated with Rudi Mahall in the quartet Fusk since 2011. Richard Andersson has roots in both the Faroe Islands and Iceland and has previously played with Rudi Mahall in the band Richard Andersson & ImmerGrün.
