Frode Gjerstad has for many years declared his enthusiasm towards small line-ups, and especially trio. The trio line up gives space for the musicians, but is at the same time very depending on the musician's physics and musicality. Recently he has worked in the duo format with amongst others Peter Brötzmann and Matthew Shipp. With over 20 recordings as a leader he has established himself as a major saxophonist on the international scene. His trios have included Johnny Dyani, Kent Carter and John Stevens, William Parker and Rashied Bakr, and William Parker and Hamid Drake, whom he toured the US with in 2000.

Margaux Oswald is a pianist of French-Filipina origin, born in Geneva, and currently based in Copenhagen. Margaux has played the piano since age 5 and is now committed to the art of free improvisation. Her album Dysphotic Zone released on Clean Feed Records was chosen as one of the best solo albums of 2022 by the New York City Jazz Record and was chosen as the top 10...

Ivar Myrset Asheim is a drummer from Norway. After being an active voice in the jazz scene around Oslo for several years, he moved to Copenhagen in 2020. Ivar has been releasing three albums with his own project Billy Meier, and is regularly on tour with the large free jazz ensemble Andreas Røysum Ensemble. His musical collaborations includes names like Lotte Anker, Sten Sandell, Simon Toldam and Andreas Røysum....
