La BOMBA is Italian-born bassist and producer Luca Curcio’s uncompromising new band. Now based between Copenhagen and Berlin, Curcio has assembled a rhythm-forward, high-voltage ensemble featuring some of Denmark’s most adventurous improvisers — blending raw improvisation with the chopped logic of sample-based music and the physicality of bass-driven grooves.

Recorded in real time and reshaped in post-production like a sonic collage, La BOMBA’s music is fractured, urgent, and body-moving — matching the flow of beat-based music with the live intensity of a band riding at full speed: visceral, layered, and pushed to the edge.
