Camille Prenant (FR) began playing the piano at the age of six, and by ten, he was captivated by the world of jazz through the music of Erroll Garner—an enduring influence that continues to shape his artistic voice today.
Prenant is a musical powerhouse, known for his explosive energy, dazzling technique, and exceptional sense of dynamics and nuance. Deeply rooted in jazz tradition, his playing bridges the past and present with originality and flair. His influences include Erroll Garner, Kenny Barron, Bud Powell, Cedar Walton, Oscar Peterson, Victor Feldman, and Phineas Newborn.
Today, Camille is one of the most sought-after pianists on the Paris jazz scene and has performed in countless settings. He has also taken to stages in Berlin, Amsterdam, The Hague, Brussels, Geneva, and other cities across Europe.
