Tivoli was founded in 1843 and is a national treasure and an international attraction. Fairy tale author H.C. Andersen visited the garden many times, as did Walt Disney. It is even said that Walt Disney found inspiration in Tivoli for his first Disney World. When Tivoli was founded, the park was located outside Vesterport, but today it is only a few minutes' walk from Rådhuspladsen, and with Copenhagen Central Station as its closest neighbor, it is easy to get there. During Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Tivoli offers jazz concerts in unique surroundings.
