The trio Bart Lewis JUBILEE has invited the American trumpeter and trad-jazz connaisseur Jon-Erik Kellso to Denmark for this year's festival.
Together with his legendary band The EarRegulars, Jon-Erik has preserved and renewed traditional jazz with his unique sound, mixing the old school and the forward-looking.
It is his first time visiting Denmark, where his family originates, and this will be celebrated with a series of concerts in Copenhagen
and Aarhus.
For this concert, the Danish jazz superstar Kresten Osgood will join on drums.
On a humorous and joyful journey, they will explore the jazz repertoire from the time before bebop, rooted in Southern blues, mechanical piano music, and marching bands.
