Mute State - Difference and Repetition
With jazz guitar, synthesizers, and drum machines, Mute State creates sound collages and non-linear electronic music in real time. The inspiration is drawn from philosopher Gilles Deleuze’s ideas on difference and repetition. Cinematic electronic music where sophisticated harmonies, dusty timbres, crackling textures, and fragments of melody meet, dissolve, and gather anew in continuous becoming. The music is created on the spot, without the use of computers or pre-produced material.
