Experience one of the most exciting new voices on the international jazz scene during Copenhagen Jazz Festival, as the London- and Berlin-based tenor saxophonist Emma Rawicz appears at Husumvold Church in an intimate duo performance with Danish pianist, composer, and arranger Søren Møller.
Since her debut on the renowned German label ACT Music, Emma Rawicz has established herself as one of Europe’s most promising jazz artists. She has received numerous awards and performed to acclaimed audiences at venues including Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club and Elbphilharmonie.
Emma Rawicz and Søren Møller know each other from three successful tours across Denmark, but this concert at Husumvold Church marks the first time they will appear together on stage as a duo. Audiences can look forward to an intimate musical experience featuring original compositions, lyrical improvisations, and fresh interpretations of selected jazz classics.
