hands on fire is a free-punk collective made up of musicians with backgrounds ranging from improvised jazz and punk to folk and ambient music. Their work is a mosaic of improvisation and composition, revolving around themes of memory, decay, and transformation. In collaboration with Portuguese multimedia artist Elliot Charrua, the project becomes a multidisciplinary performance and trance-like state in which sound, language, and space intertwine.
