The Workers Museum is a new venue at the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, though jazz is by no means new to the historic building from 1879. The concerts take place in the Banquet Hall, where generations of working-class families have gathered to celebrate and dance, giving the space a long tradition as a music venue. As early as the 1930s, jazz concerts were held here for working class people. In this atmospheric hall, audiences can enjoy the music while sensing the echoes of history beneath the red banners.
