Space Race is a young jazz and soul band who draws inspiration and repertoire from the influential music of the 60s. The band plays their own arrangements of their favorite music from the era, which includes everything from compositions by jazz legends such as Wayne Shorter and Coltrane to The Beatles. The sextet first met at Skurups Folkhögskola and consists of young musicians from Denmark and Sweden.
