EMMA is a Danish vibrant nordic jazz duo. The warmth of the wood in the double bass meets the expressive melodies from the jazz guitar. EMMA consist of Emil Mathiasen (bass) and Mathias Bøttern (guitar). Their compositions draw inspiration from a melting pot of different genres. Including: Nordic jazz, ambient and folk mixed up with various electronic elements. Strong melodies and a chill vibe are always in focus and they encourage the listener to take a step back, and enjoy a much needed deep breath in a fast moving everyday life
