Pianist Thomas Clausen is considered one of Denmark’s most distinguished musicians and composers. From the beginning, he has had a distinctive jazz musical expression, and later, he drew inspiration from both Brazilian and classical music.

The upcoming concert marks Thomas Clausen's return to his original musical expression – pure and authentic jazz. Fonnesbæk stands today as one of our outstanding jazz bassists. With sublime technique and a unique, elegant, and tasteful playing style, he seamlessly complements Karsten Bagge's deeply swinging drumming.

The trio will present airy and sensitive interpretations of well-known standard tunes, as well as lesser-played songs such as "Edelweiss." The concert will also be seasoned with Thomas Clausen's own compositions. An evening where the finesse and sensitivity of jazz will come to the forefront.
