They each have a respectable musical CV: Pianist Malthe Rostrup is Jada's musical right hand, bassist Jonathan Bremer is one half of Bremer/McCoy, Oily Wallace is the most renowned saxophonist of the new jazz generation, Felix Ewert is known as a wild drummer in Nic & Jay and for Drew Sycamore, and guitarist and melody master Johannes Wamberg is at the helm of it all. With their two albums, Tabloid has created colourful, compact and eye-catching 80's and Steely Dan-inspired music, which is both cool and corny, funky and velvety. The music is delivered with so much charm, virility and joy of playing that you almost get high from it. For the strongly rhythmic and pop-like music, even the deepest bass tones make to shine confidently and stably, electric guitar sound to circulate warm and life-giving around the body and the breath of the alto saxophonist to form pink smoke hearts in the air.
