Bagland has been one of the most prominent bands on the Danish jazz scene in recent years, representing and renewing the 'Scandinavian sound'. Since 2015 they have released eight albums, most recently States of Being, which came out in 2022 and was called “a strong album that once and for all places them at the forefront of Danish jazz right now” by JazzNyt.

With award-winning trumpeter Jakob Sørensen at the forefront, this is a concert that embraces both innovation and tradition - hope, joy, longing and melancholy.
