Vinterjazz: Adam Rudolph I
Every winter there is Winter Jazz in The Diamond, where in collaboration with the Copenhagen Jazz Festival we present exciting and special jazz concerts in the Queen's Hall.
This year you can experience the American multi-instrumentalist and composer Adam Rudolph in the Queen's Hall over two evenings. Rudolph is known for his work in particularly world music, African and global jazz and fusion. He is considered one of the early innovators in world music. Through travels in both Europe, Asia and Africa, Rudolph has learned to master percussion instruments in all guises and has also recorded with names such as Yusef Lateef, Jon Hassell and Herbie Hancock.
This first night is Adam Rudolph with his own group from New York. On day two they join the Copenhagen Jazz Orchestra, as well as a selection of other Danish musicians, and we can promise – both evenings will be absolutely unique!
