31 January 2025 will be the third release from the critically acclaimed trio with Kristoffer Vejslev (guitar), Peter Price (bass) and Simon Forchhammer (drums), which on this occasion has expanded into a star-studded quintet, with the resident American saxophonist, Ned Ferm , and the trumpet player, Jakob Sørensen.
ON A HUMAN LEVEL is characterized by tracks that explore the great universal themes of life, death, love, joy and sorrow. "I wrote the material for the album over a four-year period, which started in the corona era with thoughtful and serious tracks like MurkyWaters and ended with my then-coming fatherhood through soulful naïve tracks like Punktum, the title of which referred to the size of my then unborn son" says Kristoffer Vejslev.
