At this concert, the trio will perform music from their latest release, as well as a number of new ones
compositions that have not yet been recorded. The music is inspired by the lyrical and at times
melancholic Scandinavian sound, as well as a hint of the booming and energetic jazz from New
York.
The album 'Totem' (April Records) was written by Christian Holm-Svendsen, in the music
you can clearly hear the trio's love for the chordless trio format. This constellation requires
of the band members that they are present, listening, dynamic and focus on interaction.
The saxophone trio also gives an air around the music, with the possibility that the music can go in
all directions, and contains lots of improvisation and spontaneity.
