Un-Boxing is a 15-minute sound performance specially composed for the Vinterjazz Festival, by Sarah Buchner, Michaela Turcerova, and Qarin Wikström. The trio will engage with the sonic potential of ordinary cardboard boxes, drawing on the unique textures, resonances, and hidden possibilities that emerge from the material itself. Each box becomes a vessel of sound, inviting the audience to consider what might be lurking inside – both physically and conceptually.
