The award-winning and sought-after pianist and composer Rasmus Sørensen has just won the "Musician of the Year" award at DMA Jazz 2024.

He spent several years living in New York, where he studied at the Manhattan School of Music while performing at the city’s most renowned venues. Since then, the young and talented musician’s career has progressed rapidly. He has been repeatedly praised and is now a recognized name on the vibrant international jazz scene. He has also appeared in numerous concerts with the DR Big Band. In 2022, Sørensen released his debut album, Traits.
