Schack/Søndergård Soulmates brings together four exceptional musicians for an evening of powerful, groove-driven Hammond jazz. Veteran alto saxophonist Jens Søndergaard plays with a rich, soulful tone reminiscent of Cannonball Adderley, yet uniquely his own. His expressive phrasing and deep musical maturity form the heart of the ensemble.

Hammond organist Martin Schack adds a strong foundation rooted in blues, gospel and classic soul jazz, drawing inspiration from the legendary recordings of Lee Morgan and Adderley. Together, they create a sound full of warmth, fire and irresistible swing.

The rhythm section is nothing short of spectacular. Cuban percussion master Eliel Lazo injects the music with hypnotic, high-energy grooves, while drummer Niclas Campagnol adds precision, virtuosity and explosive rhythmic drive.
