The Danish/Swedish musician Johanna Linnea Jakobsson is a saxophonist, singer, and composer, and she is currently releasing her new album Don’t Overthink It, which came out on October 31, 2025. The album has received widespread praise from reviewers. Erik Jensen writes in All That magazine that her songs are presented “...extremely stylishly and convincingly” – and again, the album receives 5 out of 6 stars.
Throughout much of 2025, singles such as Work and Time have alternated in A-rotation on Denmark’s Radio P8 Jazz. The same station also named Don’t Overthink It “album of the week” shortly after its release. The single Time even received a prestigious nomination at the Danish Music Awards Jazz 2025 in the category “Single of the Year.”
