TING — Gravity
Michaela Turcerová, Sarah Buchner, and Qarin Wikström collaborate in this trio to explore everyday objects and gestures as material for composition. The trio aims to expand the boundaries of sound and perception — where the familiar becomes extraordinary and the mundane becomes strangely supernatural — inviting the audience into a curious sensory experience.
TING has previously presented Chairs – the art of seating, Unfolding the plastic foil, Un-boxing and Roll/Bounce. Their new piece, Gravity, is a slowly morphing sound installation-like performance, centered around the staircase and balcony at Basement. Drawing on phenomena such as swinging, hanging, falling and impact, the performing trio uses small motors, found objects and a variety of materials to shape a dynamic, resonant sonic experience.
Line-up:
Michaela Turcerová — ting og sager
Sarah Buchner — ting og sager
Qarin Wikström — ting og sager
