Fluid drum grooves, hypnotic piano patterns and ethereal tones from the plucked double bass create a narrative soundscape that is simple, immersive and spacious.

Blåly performs atmospheric instrumental music rooted in close collaboration and a strong sense of togetherness. The band combines lyrical melodies with colourful, melancholic harmonies to create a rich sonic palette drawing on elements of Nordic jazz, folk and hip-hop.

In 2024, Blåly released their debut album, Nystalgi, on the acclaimed jazz label April Records. The album was named Album of the Week on DR P8 Jazz and received positive reviews in Politiken and GAFFA, among others.

Since then, Blåly has performed numerous sold-out concerts to critical acclaim. In 2026, the band returns with their second album, Resonans, set for release on 23 October.
