With a fondness for the more understated, playful and reflective sides of jazz, vocalist Dalia Valančiūtė invites you to an intimate concert in the company of guitarist Jason Shooster and bassist August Hofman Bøegh.

Dalia Valančiūtė is a Lithuanian-born jazz vocalist based in Copenhagen. Her musical world draws on the great interpreters of vocal jazz, from Shirley Horn and Irene Kral to Betty Carter, with a focus on storytelling, presence and the interplay between the musicians.

In this trio format, the music is given room to breathe. With guitar, double bass and voice, the three musicians explore the jazz repertoire with curiosity, improvisation and a feel for both the simple and the unexpected.
