Rock-solid grooves and explosive improvisation:
Paulis Trio delivers hard-hitting blues fusion and bubbling joy of playing as they perform their debut EP “Mens Vi Venter” (2025), complemented by a few fresh tunes from the upcoming EP “Efter Vi Ventede” (2026) and a handful of well-chosen covers.
Otto Kjaer’s compositions blend the planned with the improvised, and that is the whole point of Paulis’ universe: no show is ever the same twice. Restaurant Lamar experienced this most recently at Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2026, when Paulis Trio turned jazz inside out for 80 attendees.
Get ready to see the trio out of its depth, as Paulis Trio sets Amager Records on fire. A truly special experience is guaranteed whenever Paulis Trio performs.
