Morten McCoy and Jonas Kielland started a collaboration about presenting the most exiting new tendencies in music and musicians that has gone under the mainstream radar and had their glory days in the 70’s and 80’s which deserve to be introduced to a younger audience.


They have organized concerts with the ethio jazz legend Hailu Mergia, the mbira icon Stella Chiweshe and the afrobeat group Kokoroko from London. The vision has always been to go behind the music by focusing on the stories and messages that the musicians carry with them to give an insight in the historical, cultural and political undertones in music.


That ambition has been realized through movie screenings about William Onyeabor and Nina Simone and at Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2019 they will focus on vinyl culture with talks in Husets Cinema.
