The 27-year-old pianist Rasmus Sørensen from North Jutland has in recent years been recognized internationally for his innovative yet accessible sound as both a musician and composer. After taking part in a multitude of projects at home and abroad, Rasmus released the aforementioned debut album Traits in 2022, after which the second album Balancing Act was released in 2024 with the two American jazz musicians Kendrick Scott and Alex Claffy. This release resulted in Rasmus winning a Danish Music Awards Jazz award as musician of the year. Back in November, his latest release At The Right Time was released, which has received extremely positive reviews, including five hearts in Politiken.
