Copenhagen Jazzexperience is the new no. 1 jazz group on the Danish jazz scene. Four top players in an exclusive quartet setting. Their two albums, Everything I Love (2023) and Lazy Afternoon (2024) has already reached more than 15 million plays on Spotify alone. And with around 300.000 followers on the same platform, the quartets first releases have got an incredible welcome.
The group was formed by the prize-winning musicians saxophonist Claus Waidtløw and pianist Jacob Christoffersen. In the early 00´s they often shared stage as part of the late great trumpeter Jens Winther's quintet and Christoffersen's qroup JazzXperience. A mutual dream to continue the collaboration from JazzXperience, resulted in the formation of this quartet which is completed by two of Danish jazz's most sought after and respected sidemen, bassist Daniel Franck and drummer Jeppe Gram.

The concert in Gustafskyrkan marks a release for their third album Summer Night. Also, it’s the quartets only concert at Copenhagen Jazzfestival, so if you want a seat for this exclusive show, make sure to get your tickets in advance.
The quartet cultivates tradition, but the expression is modern and ranges from beautiful ballads to originals and swinging jazz standards. The communication between the four players is sublime, chances are taken and the music appears present and alive.
