He spent several years living in New York, where he studied at the Manhattan School of Music while performing at the city’s most renowned venues. Since then, the young and talented musician’s career has progressed rapidly.
He has been repeatedly praised and is now a recognized name on the vibrant international jazz scene. He has also appeared in numerous concerts with the DR Big Band. In 2022, Sørensen released his debut album, Traits.

This fall, Rasmus Sørensen released his latest work, At The Right Time. The original, captivating, and swinging compositions offer a fresh and updated take on the trio format. Energetic, playful, and expressive—but also delicate and sensitive in the quiet ballads....
