In 2025, the two musicians Aske Skat and J.Tex have teamed up and are playing a series of concerts around the country, and in this connection, they will be touring Byhaven during the Copenhagen Jazz Festival with a double concert.

The musical collaboration started through a shared passion for roots, Americana, country and folk. Through the Danish country/folk environment, the two have gotten to know each other over the years, and over time, a friendship has developed into a collaboration. Now it will become an album (Aske Skat's fourth studio album) and a joint concert series. On their joint tour, they will perform both Aske's songs and J.Tex's songs in two sets. Aske will sometimes participate on J.Tex's songs, whereas T.Jex will be a regular "side man" on Aske's songs, and you, as a listener, will encounter tones from guitar, banjo, saw and accordion during the concert.
