The Danish jazz trumpeter Anders Malta belongs to a new generation of musicians who openly move between tradition and renewal. With deep roots in the history of jazz and a strong personal expression, he has established himself as both an instrumentalist, composer and arranger.
As founder and leader of Anders Malta Almost Big Band, he has created a unique sound. With his expressive trumpet playing and his clear artistic vision, Anders Malta emerges as a strong voice on the Nordic jazz scene – a musician who not only manages the tradition, but also pushes it forward, in this way he is very reminiscent of Miles Davis himself....
