On this evening, the young and talented jazz guitarist Kasper Hollesen performs with his organ trio. Kasper has been active on the Danish jazz scene as a professional musician since 2016 and draws inspiration from guitarists such as George Benson, Grant Green, Pat Martino, Wes Montgomery, and Joe Pass.

For this special occasion, the musical focus is a tribute to some of jazz’s renowned organ trios, including those led by Jimmy Smith, Joey DeFrancesco, and Lonnie Smith, among others. He is accompanied on organ by the outstanding Emil Savery, and on drums by the superb Morten Ilsøe.
