Aldrig i Livet consists of four distinctive musical voices on the Nordic jazz scene. With deeply attentive interplay and a strong personal expression, this unusual quartet enters an open and exploratory collective world of free improvisation, where presence, textures, rhythms and melodies become music in the moment.

DET OSAGDA MUMLAR I BÄCKEN is the debut album by Aldrig i Livet. In the music, generations and artistic approaches meet: the raw freedom and lyrical depth of Danish alto saxophonist Jesper Zeuthen, the exploratory and resonant guitar playing of Swedish musician Martin Nilsson, and the two highly personal drummers Thomas Præstegaard and Michala Østergaard-Nielsen, whose multifaceted use of drums, percussion, vibraphone and vibrafonette helps shape a dynamic, vivid and colorful sonic universe.
