George Garzone (The Fringe) and Anders “AC” Christensen (Lee Konitz, Joe Lovano) have worked together for more than two decades, recording several albums, including AMONG FRIENDS with Paul Motian and Steve Kuhn, HEY, WHY DON’T WE PLAY: MAC THE KNIFE REAL SLOW AND IN B-MINOR with Ben Besiakov and Billy Hart, and WHITE RAINBOW with Jakob Bro.

Teis Ortved (Musvit) is a young Danish rising-star tenor saxophonist who met Garzone in China last year at the Summer Session program there. Their introduction and time together were magical for everyone around them.

This evening is the first time this special lineup will perform together, joined by the ethereal playing of Søren Kjærgaard on keys (Ben Street, Andrew Cyrille) and the incomparable Mikkel Hess on drums (Hess Is More, Spacelab).
