Hein Westgaard Trio
The three musicians in the Hein Westgaard Trio met in Copenhagen in 2017 and have since played together in many different constellations. The trio works with Westgaard's compositions and uses improvisation and interaction without a set framework as an important part of the band's identity and expression. The band is a musical melting pot where inspiration from jazz, country, rock, free improvisation, classical, contemporary and folk music come together in a unique expression where the boundaries between improvisation and composition become fluid and elastic.

Dvæl
Behind the name Dvæl is a trio that plays compositions from all members. The music is a modern twist on the Nordic jazz tradition, where Nordic melancholy meets the wild New York jazz tradition. The band met in Kolding and Aarhus around the MGK environment and have played at the Jelling music festival, among other places.

Behind the name JazzHouse is a group of young volunteers who organise jazz concerts in Kolding with the help of the network and genre venue Jazz i Trekanten. Ifm. Vinterjazz, VEGA has asked JazzHouse to facilitate an evening of jazz, and they have put together a versatile programme with some of the most exciting upcoming jazz right now....
