Playful tones from the multi-talented Jeppe Wolmer

In a fusion of jazz, lo-fi electronica and ambient, multi-instrumentalist Jeppe Wolmer combines blue, Nordic tones with a warm mood. With his distinctive melodies and harmonies, combined with an understanding of composition, Jeppe Wolmer is truly unique on the Danish music scene.

In late November 2023, Jeppe Wolmer released the mini-album Playground. A record where Wolmer, with no ties to genre, instruments or framework, throws himself onto the shock-absorbing surface of the playground to capture melodies, grooves and harmonies. Playground received a lot of attention and was named album of the week on P8 jazz.

Jeppe Wolmer has previously toured with the one-man electronic project Rewolmer, where he played in the Copenhagen metro and at Roskilde Festival. Today, Wolmer works primarily as a film composer when he's not releasing his own records or as a resident DJ at the Cecil AM nightclub.
