Trio Birth of POP formed as a way to bring together the rich jazz and improvised music scenes of Denmark & Norway. The band formed in 2021 and have been regularly performing between Oslo & Copenhagen. Birth Of POP have recently released their debut album on Norwegian label 'Nice Thing Records' and have a European tour on the horizon. Two members of the trio are Oslo based and are very excited to travel down to play at Amager Records! Birth of POP keeps it simple, they meet and improvise. They don’t exactly play pop, but it’s not that far off.
