Music blog ‘Dansende Beren’ wrote: “Everything just seems off, like it's a soundtrack of stumbling, falling, and getting up again. And they can do that while still maintaining complete control over the sultry energy that permeates their music.”
This Belgian eclectic jazz band came up with their first EP 'Stalingrad' in 2020. Two years later they released a second EP ‘Urban Detox’. On it, an amalgam of influences from jazz, punk, funk, hip-hop and electronica comes together to create an interesting middle ground of four young wolves.
Their debut album 'Dopamine Overdose', was released in 2023 on the leading label Sdban Ultra (ECHT!, TaxiWars). Layered instrumental fusion jazz compositions alternate with angular pop songs and socially critical lyrics. A sound of their own manifests itself firmly but the indebtedness to groups like Black Midi, Kamaal Williams and STUFF. is audible.
LũpḁGangGang fluctuates between seeking and finding. It is best to experience that search live, because the constant enthusiasm and the indomitable energy they get from this, perhaps makes the search even more interesting than the finding! Fresh, innovative, naughty and tons of attitude: that's LũpḁGangGang.
‘The way the band manages to find the middle ground between pop songs and chaotic prog rock over and over again, despite all the influences, is more than ever clearly the core of their identity as a quartet.’ – Dansende Beren (BE,****)

+ Support: ELJO
In the borderland between acoustic and electronic, ELJO creates a sound universe with elements from both modern Nordic jazz and minimalist electronic music. In this encounter, the listener is presented with an atmospheric picture of stylistic clarity, floating contemplation and a building surface tension between repetition and momentum. With Elias Lykkeskov and Johannes Bohn on keys and percussion respectively, ELJO is a unique concert experience, where all elements – both electronic and acoustic – are played live on stage. The duo is on the way with their debut album, which will be released on the record label Blikflak in the spring of 2025 with single precursors.
