Impro Fauna is an artistic sustainability project that highlights the intersection of art forms, creating a spontaneous performance with a soundtrack. The concert series won Concert Experience of the Year at the Danish Music Awards Jazz in 2021. For this Winter Jazz edition, you can experience Anna Rømer on stage, among others.

The project has facilitated numerous collaborations, both nationally and internationally, and in addition to emphasizing sustainable concert practices, it has also contributed to fostering an environment in Aalborg where free improvisational music, theatrical art, and performance converge.
