Both the audience and critics have repeatedly surrendered to Amanda Ginsburg, who with her incredible singing voice and highly original repertoire has managed to elevate vocal jazz to new heights. With her debut album "Jag har funderat på en sak," released in 2019, she won a Grammy Award for Jazz of the Year, which was immediately followed by her second album, "Det Lilla Händer Det Mesta," which, just like its predecessor, swept the competition aside and won the Grammy Award for Jazz of the Year 2021.

When she received the Swedish Composers and Songwriters' Jazz Prize, the justification was:

The double Grammy winner has appeared in a wide range of musical TV and radio programs and, as one of the very few Scandinavian jazz singers, has several million plays on Spotify.

But there is no doubt that her live performances far surpass the experience one can get from the common streaming services. Leading a superbly skilled and star-studded Scandinavian quartet, Amanda Ginsburg performs compelling and relevant jazz, which from time to time explodes in musical brilliance from the talented musicians she performs with.

With the critically acclaimed debut album "Blues Modernism" from 2012, which won the JazzSpecial Prize for Album of the Year and two nominations for Danish Jazz Awards, Snorre Kirk firmly established himself as a composer and bandleader.
