Tabloid is a collection of five of the country’s leading musicians from the pop and jazz scene. Together, they create music that reminds us not to judge or limit ourselves. So far, they have released two albums inspired by the funk and fusion jazz of the 1980s, with elements ranging from country to J-pop. The band is now preparing to release their third album, which will be out in early 2025, followed by a tour across Denmark.

You easily become your own prison, and then you don’t experience new things, you just experience the same things over and over again. If even a little of that understanding comes through in our music, I’m happy," says Johannes Wamberg.
Working on their second album, Open Mind, Tabloid transitioned from being Wamberg’s personal vision to becoming a true band. The self-titled debut album from 2021 was created in the guitarist’s mind before he assembled the band, while for the second album, he let the creative forces run free. Instead of overthinking everything, Wamberg wrote uncomplicated and immediate melodies, which, during two summer trips to Kyndeløse, came to life through collaboration and were shaped into full songs.
In early 2025, Tabloid is now set to release their third full-length album. The first single, "Roses," was released on November 15, and in its wake, the band is now announcing a full Denmark tour....
