Woven harmonies and electronic textures are on display when CRRNT Collective presents Jon Sensmeier and Judith Parts for Vinterjazz in Union.

Jon Sensmeier (DE): Jon Sensmeier electronically unfurls the sound of his saxophone, weaving layers of pulsating harmony and infusing them with urgent melodies that echo through simmering textures.

His solo-project places his jazz language into an ambient flow and amplifies it to the sound of post-metal. Having grown up in northern Germany, Jon eventually found himself in Copenhagen, where he studied at the renowned RMC with musical icons such as Lotte Anker, Lars Greve and Espen Reinertsen.

Judith parts (EE): Judith Parts is an artist, music producer, violinist and a singer from Estonia, based in Copenhagen.

Growing up in Estonia Judith was exposed to a lot of wild nature. She has a particular interest in the connection and dissonance we humans have with nature and a lot of her work is inspired by that. Her newest album “Meadowsweet" is a story about nordic plants, her roots and her family line.
