Rumpistol Ensemble returns to turkis after two years – this time with a concert designed for movement, where the room opens up to dance, rhythm and cosmic energy.

For more than two decades, Jens B. Christiansen aka Rumpistol has been exploring the boundaries between electronic music, jazz, space rock, and neoclassical composition. His sonic universe has always reached for the celestial — and on stage, it unfolds like a spaceship of light, rhythm, and emotion.

In September, Rumpistol Ensemble opened Strøm Festival with a grand audiovisual concert at Bremen Teater, where Rumpistol’s organic electronic sound met a cosmic light show by the light collective Vertigo. His ninth album NEBULA (2025) received 5 stars in GAFFA, who wrote that “the ideas, composition, arrangements, and delivery — yes, the production itself — are solid, confident, and strong.”
