Internationally respected guitarists and composers Casper Hejlesen and Carlo Dayyani have cemented their position as two of the most distinctive voices on the European jazz scene. Since meeting while studying in Berlin, the duo has refined a common musical language, where lyrical minimalism, improvisational excess and sonic curiosity are intertwined in an expression that is both raw, refined and deeply personal. Their music opens up as a living space, where every note is allowed to breathe, and where the unpredictable meets an intuitive calm.

For this concert at Metronomen, Hejlesen/Dayyani will be joined by two young super talents, Lukas Loeb on bass and Gustav Hagelskjær on drums.
