The combination of Fini Broadbery's soft, pure vocals and his sometimes raw, uncompromising piano style brings the music to life with an almost playful lightness. Joining him are Søren Høst on saxophone, Rune Fog-Nielsen on bass and Karl Seyer-Hansen on drums – young musicians who have already made their mark on the Danish jazz scene.
The quartet interprets both well-known and lesser-known songs from the Great American Songbook. Their love of jazz tradition and history shines through, yet the music never feels formal or stuck in the past.
