Guitar virtuoso Jacob Fischer joins organ master Martin Schack and sought-after drummer Andreas Svendsen for an evening of blues-infused organ jazz. Fischer’s versatile guitar playing meets Schack’s gritty Hammond sound in the Jimmy Smith tradition and Svendsen’s inventive, funky drum grooves.
Fischer and Schack previously recorded the album 'Blues - live at La Fontaine'. This evening, the trio explores the many shades of blues in jazz alongside trio interpretations of big band classics associated with Count Basie, Thad Jones, Woody Herman and Glenn Miller.
